Japanese Omakase · Kulai, Johor
An intimate dining experience shaped by seasonality, craftsmanship and the beauty of Japanese cuisine.
DEN Culinary is a Japanese omakase counter hidden in a converted factory in Kulai, Johor. Seven set menus, chosen by the chef, served at lunch and dinner, seven days a week.

You sit facing the chefs. Fish is cut in front of you, wagyu is finished over the flame, and each course arrives when it is ready, not before.
This is not a meal ordered from a list. The sequence is theirs. The evening is yours.

The character on the door is 伝, den: to hand something down. At DEN Culinary, omakase is an intimate expression of Japanese craftsmanship, guided by seasonality, precision and respect for every ingredient.
Japanese cooking sits at the centre. Western, Thai, Chinese and Peruvian technique sit around it, learned in the kitchens the two chefs trained in.
